WSC Announcement - Sub Technical Director - Female Teams
Williamstown Soccer Club is hugely excited to announce the latest addition to our football management team: Catherine Zimmerman, who will work with Jake Butler as one of our Sub Technical Directors.
Catherine is heading the club’s female pathway bringing with her huge amount of lived experience, talent and knowledge of girl’s and women’s football from grassroots to top level.
Catherine is from Madison New Jersey and graduated from Division 1 Providence College in 2016. After playing a season for Sky Blue in the National Women's Soccer League she went on to play for FF Lugano in Switzerland.
In 2018 Catherine moved to Melbourne and played for Calder United winning back to back golden boot and gold medal awards. In 2020 she signed for Melbourne Victory where yet again she won back to back championships and club golden boot. Currently Catherine is playing for last year’s runners up Western United.
We are delighted to have her join the Williamstown Soccer Club family underlying our continued commitment to building strong, sustainable female pathways and creating opportunities for girls and women to play the game we all love.
Not wasting any time in her new role, with Junior girls trials scheduled to start tomorrow night, Catherine will be on hand assisting and overseeing the training sessions along with club TD, Jake Butler.

➡️ GIRLS Under 13 and below
Williamstown SC will field female teams in all under 8 to under 13 age groups in 2024, pre-season training will commence in late January and early February for all these teams.
For any new girls wishing to join WSC in 2024 in these age groups, please complete the following EOI jotform in order to be placed on our communications list and receive all 2024 return to training information as it is released in December.
