Exciting News for our WSC Members!
We are pleased to announce Jason Drozdek has agreed to take on the role as General Manager for Williamstown SC.
This newly created part time position is a continuation of the substantial hard work put in by Sam and Henrik for the long term planning strategy of our club.
With close to 500 playing members as well as a wide array of other key stakeholders, combined with operating out of 2 extensive facilities, we believe continued year on year growth and progress for our club would become incredibly challenging to maintain, with the risk of potentially overburdening our ever dedicated, but limited pool of volunteers.
Some of the key tasks Jason will be providing administration and operational support as GM will include:
- Player registrations
- Member communication and engagement
- Fixturing and ground allocations
- Facilities management
- Equipment/Apparel procurement and management
- Football Victoria communications
For those that don’t know Jason is a lifelong member of this club, with his father Frank being the longest serving President of the club as well as one of the founding members. From junior player to committee member, Jason has completed a range of roles at the club, with his focus in the last year being predominately with the mens senior teams.
As a club we couldn’t be happier to have Jason in this role. With his dedication and support from the club we are looking forward to continue growing as a club for all to enjoy.
