11 Williamstown teams compete in the 2017 Shepparton Tournament

Williamstown Soccer Club was again very well represented with 11 teams competing at this years Football Skool Tournament in Shepparton.

We had representation in all age groups from U7-U12 as well as U15 and 2 Girls teams.

The tournament has some of Victorias best teams competing and the competitiveness of our teams is increasing this year.

Especially our two U7 Teams lead the way finishing first and second! Well done to both teams.

Both our U8 & U9's made it all the way to the semi final of the plate before getting knocked out.

The highlight for our U10's was an unlucky 2-1 loss to a very strong Essendon team who made it all the way to the final.

Both our U11 teams competed with our Kangaroos loosing the Cup quarter final on penalties after conceding an equalizer in extra time.

Our U12' & U15's were both in very tough groups but showed they can be competitive at a high level.

The U11 girls competed in the U12 girls competition and finished in 4th place and were very competitive throughout the tournament. The same goes for our U10 girls who competed in the U9 boys competition.

Below is a short gallery with some images from the weekend.
