SENIORS WIN NOORDENNE CUP!

Our senior team last night took out the annual Noordenne Cup, hosted by neighbors Altona City.

Willi made it to the final against local rivals Yarraville Glory, with Altona City and Keilor Park settling for 3rd and 4thplace respectively.

In an entertaining and high scoring match which ended 4-4 after regulation time, captain and talisman Aleks Dimitrijevic bagged a hatrick with Gorgi Nicevski scoring the goal of the game with a long range chip.

The game then went straight to a penalty shootout with keeper Danny Spaseonski proving to be the match winner, with 3 straight penalty saves. Alex Vlassis scored the final and decisive penalty to clinch the title.

Man on the match honors went to new recruit Daniel Trajkoski.
